About PPG Services

I’m Peter Darwell, the person behind PPG Services. Since 2008, I’ve been providing Southampton, Winchester and the surrounding areas with top-quality, affordable plumbing, gas, heating and bathroom services.

I’m Gas Safe registered and bring years of hands-on experience to every job. I use high-quality materials so each project is finished to a high standard.

No job is too big or too small, whether you need a leak repaired or a full bathroom refurbishment, I’ve got you covered.

A GOOD FIND!!! I called PPG services out for an emergency call out as we had a leaking tap. Pete was very responsive and came out the same day. He fixed the tap there and then. He was very polite and tidy in his work. He was also very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend PPG services and would use him for all my plumbing needs.

Called PPG when I had an urgent underfloor leak that needed to be sorted. Peter was able to come that same day, fixed the issue quickly, and recommended the next course of action. Later completed a complete replacement of water and heating pipework under foyer and kitchen, as well as boiler service. Excellent work throughout, really nice and easy to deal with. A very pleasant experience for something that could have been very stressful, so many thanks! Would definitely recommend and use PPG again.

What are your prices?

Prices vary depending on the job, but emergency call out fees start from £78. If it’s not an emergency, simply contact me to arrange a free quote.

How can I pay?

You can pay however suits you best, with cash, by bank transfer (via invoice), using my mobile card machine, or through a secure SumUp payment link sent directly to your phone or email.

Do you offer emergency plumbing or heating services?

Yes, I provide 24/7 emergency call outs in Southampton, Winchester and the surrounding area. If it is out of hours and cannot be fixed right away, I will make it safe and we can arrange follow up work.

How quickly can you get here for an emergency call out?

Within the same day, most jobs I aim to be there within the hour and will call you when on route.
